Five Years In South Sudan

In February 2013, Nhomlaau International was formed to disciple and equip South Sudanese believers.  Our first goal was to conduct conferences in the greater Aweil region, specifically targeting women and youth.  In five years, the ministry has grown to support a full-time missionary, assist widows with cultivation, bible translation, literacy and bible teaching.  It is because of you that we can say, "Happy Fifth Birthday to Nhomlaau!"

In 2018, we will wrap up literacy teaching at a local church and renew our agriculture program with ten widows.  Six of these widows will be planting twice as many peanuts as they did in 2017.  Praise God for their hard work and His blessing of their labor!

Our bible translator has completed the books of Mark and James and is now in the Gospel of John.  We are thankful for his commitment to the work.  Please pray for us as we seek to understand and develop the written language more thoroughly.

We thank you for your support of the ministry and desire to see the South Sudanese grow in knowledge and wisdom in the Lord.

For His Name's Sake,

Shannon
